The diagnosis of the fibromyalgia is very simple. The diagnosis can be made of fibromyalgia, when the symptom of musculoskeletal pain present for at least 3 months. In addition, the tender points test should produce 11 positive signs out of 18 points. This test is designed and postulated by American College of Rheumatology. These two criteria can help in stating the diagnosis as of fibromyalgia. However, not all of the patients can abide by these criteria and they too can be with fibromyalgia.
